It is recommended that candidates take steps to ensure that they are adequately prepared for the Victoria Police Entrance Examination.
To achieve the best possible results, a number of strategies can be used.
It is important to remember that to be successful, applicants will need: to be flexible; to have good thinking skills (critical and analytical); to be able to respond quickly to new situations and problems; and to have a well-developed ability to understand and respond to individual situations.
As with any exam, doing wide and critical reading, along with practicing answering questions of a similar type, and under similar time constraints as those found in the real test, is helpful preparation and reassuring to most candidates.
For further tips on how to prepare, please make sure you read the preparation information provided in the Candidate Information Booklets.
