Literacy
Entrance exams are delivered monthly in locations across Melbourne and regional Victoria on a Saturday or a Sunday. Occasionally, exams are offered at interstate locations, subject to interest.
After you have successfully applied to Victoria Police recruiting, you will receive an invitation to sit the entrance exam.
This invitation will include important timelines for booking and completing your exam with ACER.
You will also receive an ‘Applicant ID number’, which you will need when registering in the ACER Victoria Police entrance examination portal. It is important you match your details exactly.
The fee to sit the Victoria Police entrance examination is $228 (incl. GST). The fee for completing the exam is paid directly to ACER at the time of booking.
Victoria Police allows candidates to attempt the entrance exam a total of two times.
